Baby Frank

A friend asked me to do a oil sketch of her grandbaby for a Valentine’s present. I had so much fun doing it because who would not enjoy painting such a cute face! This is not a full blown portrait but a 6″x8″ painting on linen board. It can be charming tucked into a bookcase.

Bayou Bend Gardens

The second painting is on a beautiful December day at Bayou Bend gardens. Again I was struck with in light falling across the winter green lawn. Who said Houston has bad weather? This painting is also 8×10″, oil on linen board.

Azalea

This first painting is of a miniature azalea bush I bought to bring a little Spring into my living room in January. The south sun shining in the window on it made me want to capture it’s beauty forever. The size is 8×10” and it is oil on linen board.
